Technology:
– Pressure Absorbing Fit (PAF) System
PAF (Pressure Absorbing Fit) is an innovative heel system that helps distribute the force of heel stress and increase heel fit. Active Rand rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the Achilles tendon and connects to the 2mm XS GRIP2 rubber, which acts as a bridge and allows for full heel fit while still providing dynamic forward pressure to concentrate force on the big toe. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for medium tension and 3 holes for heavy tension.
– Passive System
Classic construction shoes developed for situations where dynamic support is not the primary focus.
– Vision Rubber
Scarpa’s patented rubber, designed to offer a balance of performance and resistance to the demands of a new climber’s inexperienced feet. Durable and reliable in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications.
